Gjallarhorn Drop Rate
Hey guys!
I have finally received my first Gjallarhorn this week from Crota normal.
Ever since, I have seen Gjallarhorn everywhere. I even finished a Crota hard checkpoint with 5 people having this rocket launcher equipped.
We see the people that are asking for this weapon every week from Xur and from RNG. Even though we say this gun is one of the rarest exotics, I honestly think it is not.
What do you think ? Is Gjallarhorn rare or not ?

Edited by Benzene21: 8/19/2015 5:50:39 PMIt is not a rare drop. A lot of people have one for each character; many others have 2. At least half of the players I have inspected had it. I've seen people get it when I watch streams. I've seen people get it when I am playing with them. It took a while to get my first one, but I got the second one 4 weeks later. It is not rare.

I ran the nightfall about a month ago and gally dropped for all three of us, it was the fourth one i had received

I've only done nightfall twice and out of all of them I've seen a Gjallarhorn. First time I did it I got Dragon's Breath. My team got Plan C and Thunder lord. Second time I did it I got Gjallarhorn and my team got No Land Beyond and Thunder Lord. I've seen a lot of nightfalls but I've never seen a Gjallarhorn. Only time I've seen it is in raids

9 RepliesNo Land Beyond is actually infact [u]Rarer[/u] because you cannot get the NLB from VOG while you can get Gjallarhorn from VOG aswell as any other source.

My experience was weird. Took probably 700 hrs to get my first gally, then took probably only another 100-200 to get another 3. Yes I have 4 now. Can't even bring myself to dismantle the extra one...

6 RepliesGally really isn't that rare. I've had 7 or 8 of them across all the activities. I even bought one from Xur when he sold it 10 days after release. I don't understand how anyone can call it rare when everybody had the chance to buy it for 17 Strange Coins in week 2. Everybody, and I mean everybody I play with has at least one, and I play with a lot of people.
