Gjallarhorn Drop Rate
Hey guys!
I have finally received my first Gjallarhorn this week from Crota normal.
Ever since, I have seen Gjallarhorn everywhere. I even finished a Crota hard checkpoint with 5 people having this rocket launcher equipped.
We see the people that are asking for this weapon every week from Xur and from RNG. Even though we say this gun is one of the rarest exotics, I honestly think it is not.
What do you think ? Is Gjallarhorn rare or not ?

Finally got mine from an engram last night, which came from a dragon strike. 500+ hours played. Feeling blessed. Praise be to RNGesus!

You may have seen a few people with it, but then think of the amount of people that play the game, let alone don't have it. Il I have 2 mates who have played for 2000+ hours, still haven't got one, yet I have played for 400 and got one last night.

Low drop rate does not necessarily equate to rare. Lots of people have it but many logged a bunch of hours before they got it.

4 RepliesWell, i was doing VOG hard today and i received a fatebringer, but after moving n to the "exotic" chest in the Gorgons lair i found a Gjhallerhorn, now i'm not saying it is rare but due to it being a rocket launcher the chances of me using it a minimal, i was more exited about getting Fatebringer (and it was only my second run ever in VOG) but yes i do not think it is rare also seeing as how Xur will also sell it most times

You know, Gjallarhorn is stupid. But a necessity. When anyone or everyone asks for Gjhallarhorn, they mean it. I noticed someone has 28 Gjallarhorns within 8 months of Destiny. I am on my 8th month, and not one Gjallarhorn! I feel the rocket launcher is soo rare, its almsot impossible to get to 99.9% of the people who play Destiny. But even then, almost everyone has it, that I agree, but if that said everyone has a Gjhallarhorn, whoever voted that up is either stupid, or interesting in a way of trickery.

15 RepliesI just despise how you have to have one to get any help in the poe. I have beaten if every week without a ghorn. It just seems everyone is taking the easy way out. Every fight is just spam ghally and if you dont have one gtfo. This is getting pathetic and I loath having to spend 30 minutes looking for a lfg team because I get passed over for a shitty player who just happened to be lucky enought to get a ghorn. It requires no skill whatsover to fire rockets at a boss. Once again pathetic.

It's a very rare drop but it isn't a rare weapon anymore, with Destiny being out for like 10 months now. It's probably the most common weapon I see people using, but that's just because it's good and anyone who has it would be using it
