I love the fate bringer and bought this gun hoping to have an alternate. It doesn't do enough damage for me sadly. I am going on the basis of crota end normal and hard and it didn't seem to damage the enemies enough whereas a raid weapon or exotic damaged a lot more.

Mine is maxed and crits over 1K on level 30

Have you maxed it? Makes a big difference, pretty sure mine was doing over 1000 crits in level 30 stuff.

I have done yeah. perhaps it was just me but I was using that as my fate bringer was elsewhere and it didn't seem to be doing that much damage especially to hallowed enemies. especially at deathsinger. I want to lime the gun and perhaps it was a upgrade or two behind at the time but I keep it on one of my characters anyway so maybe the level plays into it also as I don't think my titan took it at any point

Yeah it's because handcannons just have higher dps than scouts, especially someone with medium damage like the rapier
