Hello, I was stuck in a level too for the longest time ever, until I stumbled unto a legendary engram and from then on kept upgrading it to where my level is now. My suggestion is to just keep playing the game. Playing in a fireteam with friends or even with strangers could help, especially if your going on high level strikes, missions, etc. where they could help carry you through and then you could be rewarded with something good. Run dailies,weeklies, and strikes to get vanguard marks or play crucible for crucible marks, you can purchase items from vendors after reaching the required rank. To acquire accommodations for certain items they sell, you will start getting them after rank 3. All vendor gear can get you to 31 once you have a full set.

Hi bullettimeduck, I recommend you do your 6 bounties daily and tried to get vanguard rank 3. Once you have that play some ROC strikes to get vanguard marks and you can buy your way to level 30. You need to obtain gear from the vanguard or complete a raid. To get gear from the vanguard either use your commendations or just wait and get lucky in a random drop. I would recommend getting a piece or 2 from the vanguard then jump into the vault of glass to get yourself to 30 or higher. Once at 30, do Crota on normal and you will get the best gear in the game to date. Hope this helped. Good luck!!
