What is a worse game to play in front of 4 yr olds?
I was playing Destiny and fired up the dark beyond to complete a bounty and my mom and sister said because there is guns in destiny not to play it in front of my nephew. But they let him play Killer Instinct and MORTAL -blam!-ING KOMBAT at his cousins house!!!!! What is worse to play in front of my 4 yr old nephew, Destiny or Killer Instinct?

I grew up with SoF, CoD, Diablo, and Arcanum (these being for the PC in the early 2000's and -blam!- Arcanum! shit was ridiculously hard) and I find that some games really shouldn't be played by children below 8. It may be just a game but the child thinks its "OK" because he did it in VR.

1 ReplyParents today are raising a bunch of p455ies. The first movie I remember watching as a little kid was terminator. I've been playing violent video games and watching violent movies since is was like 6. Did I turn into an angry or violent person? No. I'm a perfectly fine, well adjusted member of society. It bugs me when parents blame video games or movies for their kids mistakes like all these tragedies at schools and what not. Clearly for a kid to do that kind of stuff they have mental probs in the first place and the parents should blame themselves for making excuses for them all the time instead of getting them the help they need.

People can get really weird about guns, don't sweat it. I have a 4 year old and I told her I was shooting robots and she is "ok" with Destiny. Mostly, I stick to the Wii U for them.

1 ReplyThis may seem cruel and cold hearted but it sounds like your mom and sister do not care about the violence he is exposed to but have bought into the left wing liberal agenda that says all guns are bad and by him playing or watching a game with guns is gonna make him grow up to be a mass murder.

They have blood and gore and and destiny doesn't and it isn't realistic gunplay either.

I would say they're about equal. Both include fantasy violence, neither are as inappropriate for a child than GTA 5. Play that in front of your nephew!
