I don't see why not. DeeJ says "what if someone has to leave for dinner?" And my question is "what's the difference if someone from LFG has to leave for Dinner?" A random is a random no matter what website you find them at. Here is my solution to raid matchmaking.. By default raid is private. Option to make it match making but have a party leader to boot player. If someone quits, have that open spot for match making till someone joins just like strikes.

  • So they join at a random spot they don't need? You really put some thought into that.. dumbass.

Isn't that what strikes do already? I also said you have the option to go private meaning you can start from the beginning, And instead of you being constructive you come on here to try to insult people...carry on keyboard gangster. In the end matching is only for you if you want to just finish the raid.

  • Great suggestion. I really like this idea.

  • So, if you dont want randoms, kick them out? So you spend all your time having to keep kicking people out? Or if you're trying to match and actually find people and idiots kick you for no reason? I think it should either be no matchmaking or matchmaking IF you really want it to. It shouldn't be compulsory

  • Kick them if they are not active. I never said kick me cause they are randoms. A newbie is only going to learn if they have people that know how to play raids this will help them out. Idk why you have that mentality that I meant to kick a random out that's not where I was going with this

  • I was trying to understand what you meant. If a noob wants to learn, there are plenty of people out there willing to take noobs through and teach them the raid. I have helped people before who didn't know what they were doing. I'm happy to do that, but I don't want to have to do it each time i want to raid, either

  • That's cool I understand, but that's why I said raid would be private by default like is is now. The only addition is to switch over to matchmaking for those who want it.

  • Well, you know, I can accept that. I get that not everyone can be bothered jumping on forums (although i feel like thats lazy talk), so IF they want to add matchmaking, ffs make it a choice. :)

  • True. This way both parties are happy :-)

  • Except most of the anti raid matchmaking people don't want it because they don't want other players to get the gear they have. That's it. That's the true reason. It has nothing to do with functionality as matchmaking is an option. An option. An option. Meaning?!?!! They wouldn't have to use it.

  • I couldn't give a -blam!- if people match and get the gear I have. People get better gear than me when i raid with people I know?! Why would I even care about that? I raid and get -blam!- all, that's normal. People out there can raid and get gear with randoms on the forums. How am I to know they've got the same gear or better gear? Your comment makes no sense

It doesn't make sense because obviously you are incompetent. Most "douches" don't want raid matchmaking because if it was added it would allow people that don't get to play the raid an option to do so, thus allowing them to get end game gear. These "douches" don't want that because they let a video game define them and their rank in the real world, much like elitists. Can. You. Understand. Now? Herp? Derp?

  • LOL Don't you understand that ANYONE can find people to raid with if they go on a forum and find some people if they wanted to? Your comment makes no sense because people can just find people to raid with and they'll get the gear and the weapons from raids if they want. They don't need matchmaking to be able to do so. You are the one who is incompetent if you did not realize that is is an actual thing. Did you know there are forums on Bungie and elsewhere that you can find other people to play with? Did you know that? I can give you a link if you can't find it. Idiot.

  • Sooooo, my computer and my PS4 are on opposite sides of my house. Does that mean I am supposed to run back and forth and manage both when they are so far apart my controller losses connection at my computer?
My house isn't big, it is just an old school long narrow house from the 40's. So no rich comments!
