Ships have become worthless.
I know it's hard to remember that far back, but we all spent the first two missions of the game acquiring a ship to get off of Earth. The first mission you fight the Fallen and get a ship, the second mission you fight them again to get a better engine. Seems like ages ago, but it happened.
Then from level 2-20 we spent hours going to the Shipwright ogling ships that we might be able to purchase. But man! 2650 glimmer for a ship? That's soooo expensive! And a green one for 4320?! Is there that much glimmer in the game?
Then we hit level 21. Gotta get more light. Level 24. Found ship blue prints. Woah...I get this sweet ship for free? And it's BLUE? No way!
Level 27. Going to try my luck in the Vault of Glass. Hold on...there's Legendary ships? Sweet.
Time goes on, we hit level 30...31...32. Going to patrol. Oh wow...I found my 26th set of ship blue prints. Do I even care? It's not even worth my time to hold the scrap button down for 30 seconds to get rid of all the ships I have now. Shipwright still has them for 4320 glimmer, but she won't give me a cent for the ships clogging up my inventory.
What gives, Bungie? How about we get a third of the price for taking the ship blue prints back to the shipwright? A fourth? A fifth of the cost? Anything?
It all seems like such a waste now.
I miss my Acadia Jumpship.
