Seventh Column SETI: A Year in Review

Hello Community, As you may have guessed by the title of this thread, today marks the one year anniversary of Seventh Column SETI, and what a year it has been. What began as an initiative before the days of bungie.net has grown immensely over this past year, and shows no signs of slowing down. When our group's rejuvenation of the Bungie Software SETI@hometeam began last year, we had a mere 680,000 credits to our name. Through our combined efforts, we have accumulated, at the time of this post, 7,238,938 credits, and are averaging over 15,000 credits per day. Ordinarily, this would be the part of the update where I list our top weekly contributors. Instead, I'd like to thank all of the members of Seventh Column SETI for their time and efforts over the past year; without you, none of this would have been possible. On behalf of Seventh Column SETI, I would also like to thank you, the bungie.net community, for your outstanding support of this project. As far as community projects go, we would hardly consider ourselves vocal. Nonetheless, our doors are always open to new members who wish to contribute to our initiative. Links to our bungie.net and SETI@home group pages are posted below. Once again, I would like to thank the members of Seventh Column SETI and the bungie.net community for a remarkable first year, and for many more to come. • Just signed in to say congrats on one year! My grandmother used to run SETI back in they day! Unfortunately we had to stop when she couldn't get Boinc to work on her pc :( You hear about that Science summit or whatever to determine whether they should send messages towards some planet or another? http://phys.org/news/2015-02-seti-scientists-messages.html
