Multiplayer colors

In the most recent H2 screenshot, I noticed that the player's armor had patches of light blue in it. Might this signify that he's on the blue side? But, then again, in the background of the shot is a warthog with a driver sporting a red helmet - which would shoot my suspicion to pieces. So does free for all armor have blue patches on it, or is it in fact an indication of the player's team?

  • you HAVE to strafe, if you dont youll die from direct fire. strafing is a part of all good first person shooter games.

  • That would be a really bad thing if you couldn't strafe. I don't know how many times i've strafed in Halo. If they take strafing away, they are taking part of halo away. And in real time what would stop you from strafing? Two weapons?

  • Cammoflaged armor would be really cool. Especially in a jungle scene. And if you look at the guy in front, you'll see he's strafing. At least, he's running forward and pointing his guns to the side. I wonder if this means no more sideward stepping in Halo 2.

  • when i saw the armour i thought the same thing, the green chiefs look like their working together but there is a red in the background, if it where a free for all why would they be helping each other, if it were a team game why are the teams green against red, seems strange, maybe there are four team colours now.

  • I guess it would be fun to have like primary and secondary (and details) colors, but I think I would still just stick with one color all over. Personally I don't even think those blue patches look that great.

  • i did agree but i see now that some colors look alot like other colors like tan and brown which make you blend in with blood gulch. i like how they added gold and green to the teams.
