Ever try to punch someone in a dream?
I always try, but my fists move so slow. I just feel weak and can never deal any damage. Can you guys fight in dreams? Or are you like me? It almost feels like something is holding back my punches, but they still move slowly.

I pushed someone out of the way once, but most of my dreams usually involve more dialogue than action.

A few years ago I tried yelling in my dream. And I tried so hard. Then I did, and woke up screaming at the top of my lungs, freaking everyone in the house out at the same time. I felt bad. I've done the punching thing too. Only ever did it once, successfully.

Not that I can recall. I've shot someone in a dream, if that counts.

Some dreams I have are like that and some aren't. I haven't really been having too many dreams were I fight people lately, or even dreams at all.

My abilities change from dream to dream. Like sometimes I won't be able to fight at all, and sometimes my strength and speed will be enhanced. I'll never forget one dream i've had. I was stuck in this desert city that was crumbling and abandoned. I was alone, until a group of people in all black went into the city and were trying to capture me. I was taking out squads of them with ease, and nothing but a knife at the most.

The tech worked fine. And trust me, those lasers -blam!- hurt. I didn't die in it, but -blam!- YEOUCH. Least the WESTAR Machine Blaster solves problems. More DAKKA than anything in Warhammer.

It's tough. It's really tough. Nothing more annoying than not being able to beat the -blam!- out of someone.

Oh my god thank the lord I'm not the only one. In my dreams I'm so damn weak. My punches never do any damage and it feels like my fists go so slow and when they hit him it's like I'm just holding my fists against his face.

When I'm in danger and yell for help, nothing comes out and I yell slowly. WTF!

I've noticed that too. The only times I successfully punch, I actually do in my sleep. Seriously, punched my PS2 clean off my bedside table once after I had a dream that I was Big Boss being taught CQC by The Boss. I've woken up in more pleasant ways.

Sometimes I also have dreams that I am laying in bed and my mom is calling me, and I wake up, still in bed, and yell "WHAT??". Needless to say I have woken up many people this way.

I usually wake up right at the point of no return and then bam! I've just actually physically punched my bed head.

I can control my dreams, although I've always had a problem where whenever I try to use a gun, it turns into a fingergun. -blam!-. But I can throw punches alright. Or spawn a car out of nowhere and drop it on somebody, gravity gun style. Or spawn a lightsaber.

I used to be like that, but I've found as I've gotten older, it's gotten more realistic. I can actually fight properly in my dreams now. Except for guns. They don't work. Still working on that.
