First post after a few years of absence...
2-3 years ago I stopped using B.net, why? I don't remember, but this website has changed... A LOT. I haven't played Halo for the same amount of time as I have moved on, but I sure do miss this place, I used to be on here every second of every day.
The SIP has seemed to have died, all threads appear to be archived, the most recent post on the spam thread was at the beginning of this year which is quite odd, it was literally alive last time I checked...
So yeah, I'm back for a while, what's everyone up to?

You haven't missed much of anything. You could probably leave for another 6 months, nothing will really have changed.

Bungie has been really dark and quiet about the details of their new game, but it should end Soon (TM).

But the Core of the Community is staying while the fair-weather fans are falling off like loose shingles. In answer to another question in your OP; yeah, I still play Halo. Though that may be in doubt depending on what 343 Industries does with Halo 4. I have no problem returning it and sticking with Reach and Halo 3 if Halo 4 sucks. That and I always have the Elder Scrolls addiction to feed until Bungie's next game drops in our sweaty, anticipatory hands. :)

And that 2-3 year leave has taught me that A LOT of things change in a period of time like that, Bungie.net isn't what is used to be.

I now know that Xbox 360 vs. PS3 fanboy wars are the most stupid thing that has been created, COD vs. Halo wars are also pointless and that PC's are superior... That's all.

How was the 2-3 year sabbatical?

I stopped playing Halo. I moved onto PC gaming aswell, mostly League of Legends. What news do you have from the outside world?

I don't get it, how have I kept my rank? I thought it would have reset... And thanks all for the welcome back messages, 3 years away from this forum is a VERY long time... Do you guys still play Halo? Or have you moved on? I sold my Xbox a while ago as I have moved onto PC gaming.

Hanging onto the edge of my seat, pressing f5 every 10 secs to see if anything changes. While getting jealous of people with Ace in their name that vanish for a min of 2 years, and come back with Legendary in their title. I've been Heroic for no telling how long now. Only the second half of that was ture. Welcome back, grab a seat if can find one in the darkness.
