Your most hated enemy >:(

Mine is the hunters on legendary with almost all skulls on. I swear they are near invisible. Which enemy do you hate?

 • The Stealth Elites on Legendary difficulty. I would say Hunters but pump enough shells into them or unload a full clip (or 2) from your AR into them and they'll go down without a fuss.

 • I can't say. I loved all the enemies in H1, none of them annoyed me they where all pretty cool, and I never thought of it as bs, all there attacks seemed reasonable(well except for Rocket Flood but I can forgive that). My favorite is either Goldie or the Spec Ops Elites. Ofcource, that's only H1. H2: I never got to play H2 on Legendary, so I never encountered the infamous Jackal Snipers at their full potential... The Banshees got pretty annoying in The Great Journey on Heroic as I recall. H3: Idk... Either the Banshees or the Ghosts on The Storm(Legendary), although I do recall a very unpleasant experience with the AA Wraiths on The Ark(Legendary), but I was young and noobish back then, so my judgment may have been clouded. Reach: The little kids in Matchmaking... and Phantoms. [Edited on 08.09.2012 9:10 PM PDT]

 • I hate carrier forms because they're walking grenades when in conjunction with the grenades from fallen flood it blows the entire level up.

 •
Posted by: nesteggfailure
Posted by: Zealot Tony Any Flood which get back up from after you think you've killed them and them then getting you from behind.
Ha ha. That is an awesome phenomenon.  Also great is the way carrier forms don't necessarily explode when a grenade sends them flying etc.  I can see where players would hate the Flood for such aspects.
CE Carriers were the best. You could use them to kill other Flood, they came so fast, they could be used effectively as a substitute for grenade launching, produced massive chain reactions. Plus, there could be so many of them at one time. It was especially fun moving the Carrier around before it landed. H2 Carriers were just lame. There was a shortage of them, they're slow, they rarely appear near combat forms. They're just like H3 plasma grenades. They lack versatility. H3 Carriers were lame in combat (and even easier to kil) but at least they had some uses. I created Half Flood thanks to their pathetic movement speed + spawning high amounts of Infection Forms. If they were like in CE, it wouldn't be possible. Also, they can jump impressive distances for a Carrier in certain circumstances. I created a Flood army thanks to their contribution. And they're useful for keeping Arbiter down (or he'll get back up). If only there were Flood combat forms down there... then this would be practical. The most lethal artillery. [Edited on 07.23.2012 4:11 AM PDT]

 •
Posted by: IRISH 249 Flood. Enough already!!!
Have to agree with Kamel and Dark Hunter there, home skillet. Those blamming jerks turn even a chaingun sequence into irritation and repetition. They're the Drones of CE.

 • Jackals in CE on legendary...for some reason, I find killing elite easier, all because at least when you slowly pepper there shields (or use the PP) there is some feeling like you are making progress. Jackals never seem to stumble for me.

 • Jackals for me. On legendary they will OC your shields constantly and I find them harder to take down than a typical elite. I save frags specially for them and always like to know where the nearest Plasma Pistol is when I run intt them. There is a certain satisfactin with unloading a clip of needles at them, pinging their sheilds with the AR/M-6D and watching the needles riddle them when they roll away from you.

Reach is a lot more easier than CE. It's just filled with a lot more bs which makes Reach sword Elites more dangerous than CE Zealots.

 •
Posted by: AlexTheGoalie96 2)Sword Elites (they can run faster then you which is annoying)
You haven't met Reach sword Elites have you? CE sword Elites are easy to lose if you go behind cover during a pursuit and any weapon can deal with them. It's possible to kill them with only beat down! And it was possible to assassinate them. And in some versions of CE, if you keep running forward without looking back, it's possible to avoid every swing. Reach sword Elites are so much faster and there's virtually no way to exploit their swing. Often they have uber shields (much more stronger than CE Zealot shielding). And if you get boarded and kicked out, it's a one hit kill (at least with the 7 Generals from the Tribute Room easter egg) and there's no way to prevent it unless you flip (H2 was the only time where you could get out of the vehicle when you were being boarded). It's merely because of their lack of distinct abilities (leap) and noob combo that they're rarely perceived as a threat. Try fighting a sword Elite with only a grenade launcher, concussion rifle, or plasma launcher. You'll be screwed. The truth is that the needle rifle and hologram are the only reliable, life saving, game default methods besides noob combo in Reach. It's just sad. You can get creative on some levels: -treadmill exercise on WC -tricking sword Elite at the end of TotS into running off by jetpacking or getting him to board your Banshee which will cause the game to trigger the activation panel. You can also knock him off the ledge with the Banshee or bring up Jorge and get a stealth kill on him -tricking sword Elites into running off the edge on Installation 04 -exploiting scripting on fleeing Zealot on TotS to get him in an infinite animation loop. You can also make him lose his AI. You could also block him in advance with his 4 Grunts and continuously get a Killtacular by reloading checkpoint. I'm pretty proud of myself for getting a Killimanjaro without using a Target Locator or the Falcon's grenade launcher. On Legendary difficulty. Kill times are atrocious and Bloom is like typing with a rubber keyboard. [Edited on 07.06.2012 7:26 PM PDT]
