Credit Reset Disputes - 5/24/2011
Good afternoon,
We have executed a round of Credit Resets for accounts which have habitually exhibited idling or "AFK" behavior while playing in Firefight Matchmaking. If you believe your ban was a false positive, you can post a request for investigation.
[b]Only request an investigation if you are absolutely sure that your ban was a false positive, if we take the time to investigate your account and find that you do have idling or "AFK" behavior, we will place an extended Credit Ban on your account.[/b]
Do not use this thread for any other discussion. If you are not requesting an investigation of your Credit Reset from 5/24/2011, do not post in this thread.

Hi' I would like an investigation on my gamertag "samuraipro55" please. I am just really confused because I don't think I have ever AFKed. My style of playing firefight is more of standing back and shooting from a distance so I can build up my Perfectionist commendation. Does AFK mean "away from computer"? Because if it does I know for a fact I never leave the room with my xbox running with a game of firefight. I also never recall a single game where I haven't earned any kills. I'm not afraid of the extended ban for people who request an investigation because I know i've done nothing wrong. People have important things come up in the middle of games sometimes, and that isn't worth a rank reset. Thank you.

It's pathetic how many people are wasting Jeremiah's time going "duh i didn't afk evearr wtf weeeeow" when you can just look at their history and find an afk game in 10 seconds.

So far we have issues extended credit bans for several dozen accounts, we are continuing to look for false positives but so far no one has been reset and banned without sufficient cause. It's clear that even players who know they're deserving of this ban are going to request an investigation, which could end up delaying the investigation of a player who is honestly unaware of why they were reset and banned. I ask that you please remain patient while we continue to review disputes and we will notify players individually if we require any additional information from them. Investigate me and put a response on my thread, ive typed up a back story and proven ive done nothing wrong. My threads around here some where. A lot of living dead though (going for zombie player classifications on HC) Being a zombie you dont just rush, rush, rush. You take your time, wait for them to pass by and be strategic. So you dont give them 50 kills. Waiting around a corner for a human to pass by is not afking lol.

Hello. I know for a fact that I have not idled in firefight, or for that matter even played firefight since 5/20/11. I was just on my computer when noticed on my tv that I have been banned from earning credits for 2 weeks. Upon further investigation I noticed that my creditsH have been reset as well. This has never happened to me before, but I have to admit, i have idled in the past, which got me banned for 24 hours. But, I have not idled repeatedly in firefight ever since. I don't know if this wide scale banning has anything to do with my ban, but I looked over all of the evidence and it pointed toward this mass banning on 5/24/11. I would like you to look over my game history and really check if I have been "idling in firefight" . I am willing to accept whatever extended credit ban you may give, even though I am innocent and have suffered enough with this 2 week credit ban and credit reset. I want t know why I have been banned, and I want feedback on this subject. I hope you take what I have said into consideration.
