Three things that you want from Halo 2 to be in Halo 4

Topic: What are three things you would want from Halo 2 to return in Halo 4? TL;DR In Halo 4, I would like to see dual wielding, a return to the clan system, and a similar skill system to Halo 2. 1. Skill system: I think the slow system Halo 2 implemented was more reflective of skill than Halo 3. The problem with level jumping as seen in Halo 3 is something that lowered the visible skill gap and created a bunching from ranks 40-45. However, I would prefer high ranks from 50 down to be denoted by their skill number rather than emblems. Also, a return to the exp bar would be beneficial because it allowed for a player to know where they stood as far as leveling up/down. 2. Clans: I think that Clans should be brought back, and added with its own unique ranking system. Perhaps you could choose the best four players to represent your clan and then the skill level of the rest of your clan would be averaged. Your top players as well as the average for the rest of the clan would then aggregate to an overall rating that determines your clan's rank. 3. Dual wielding*: *The reason I originally removed this was because I think they already confirmed no dual wielding. I was not a big fan of it in multiplayer, but it would be fun as an option during campaign. [Edited on 04.22.2012 5:45 PM PDT]

 • 1. The Gameplay: Reach has a distinct difference when compared to Halo 2 and Halo 3. It doesn't flow as well. IT's almost like Call Of Duty. Spawn, kill, die. Spawn, kill, die(repeat). The physics in Reach were terrible too. It's almost impossible to not flip a warthog. In Halo 2 and 3, it was atleast difficult to flip them. 2. Multiplayer Maps: Personally, I would be fine with 343 simply copying the maps from Halo 2's Multiplayer Map Pack and upgrading them for Halo 4. Maps like Terminal and Relic shouldn't disappear simply because they aren't brand new. Bring some of the amazing old stuff back. 3. The weapons: Halo 2's dual-weilding was great. In halo 2, the needler actually played a role in the game. Now, it's like the plasma pistol(except, the plasma pistol was actually improved, it can shut down vehicles), left on the side. Only picked up when you've exhausted you'r ammo and grudgingly pick it up. The Magnum in Halo 2 was awesome, fire as fast as you want, it was a real pistol. Halo 3's was cool, but if you missed a shot, your dead.
