Defeat Target: Public event bug?

Once I was doing public event on moon: defeat target. There was quite a lot of ppl so the killing was going really fast and the target was in the same place all the time (instead of moving) but then... bum! the Target had teleported itself near to the zone when it is departing. Players was confused and no one could get there so fast. Of course, it means no one got the golden tier. I've thought that maybe it was single time glitch because of area topography but few days later the same thing happened on Mars. I belive those weren't isolated cases and it happen even more often to other players (or maybe not?) As long as I can't find any "report bug" place I'm posting it here. Bungie, pls work on this! (sorry for my english)

  • Yeah, this seems to happen with most of the Kill Target Public Events.

  • 2 out of 4 checkpoint. Then the next second is already 4 out of 4. Those targets are cheesing us!

  • One is a minotaur on mars and this guy literally teleported to the end, we lost in 10 seconds. This wasn't lag at all, this was the vex teleporting technique they do.

    • i think this sort of thing is sad. bungie spends so much time trying to patch people going through parts of a raid easier but ignores major glitches elsewhere in the game. vog still has issues...however, they found time to make sure you couldn't push the templar over the cliff. all i'm saying is i don't understand why bugs are such a low priority

    • Happens all the time. I just ignore that type of public event because they do not bother to fix it. Been happening for months now despite repeated complaints.

      • I'm not sure if it's intended but same thing happens to an event in Mars event defeat the target. It had at least several zones to go but at one point it teleported so far that we actually had to use our sparrow to catch up. It seemed like an interesting way to decrease repetitiveness of the same event lol
