Judging before reading; The ultimate guide!
[b]--Now hear this! This thread was intended as a joke! Read accordingly (I find it sad I have to post this, as it is fairly obvious from the content)[/b]
Well now, I know none of you out there in forumland like to bother to actually [i]read[/i] posts to see if they are of good quality, so that's why I have complied this nifty little guide; To let you know the person inside and out before even reading their posts!
[*]Avatar:
An important indicator, to be sure. The most important thing to keep in mind is the game the avatar is from. If it is from halo, they suck and should not be taken seriously. If the avatar is from ONI, they are probbrabbly creepy guys pretending to be girls. If their avatar is Marathon-related, you must worship them on spot. If they have any other avatars, they are dangerous terorists. Also you must take the color of the avatar into consideration. Blue is may favorite color, so if their avatar is blue, you must worship them for all eternity.
[*]Join date:
You know it. The ealier, the better right? Troo Troo. If they have a pre-2004 join date, they are god. treat them accordingly.
[*]Post count:
Most important factor. Quantity=Quality, after all.

on the Avatar thing: i don't really see how that affects whether a post is good or not. what if they just picked the avatar because no one else is using it? like me? on the join date thing: i'm one of the earliest people to join this year; does that count? on the color of the Avatar thing: ok, now thats just cheating. you can't set yourself up to be a god on your own terms. thats just wrong. so stop pretending. only mods, the Bungie guys, and Eagle 117 are true "gods". edit: on the post count thing: its quality > quantity. plus, there isn't any real easy way to coutn posts, so, like the prophets, you are a falsified god/person thingy. I must suck then and have no more reason to live. I was thinking of changing my avatar to a Marathon one but I thought otherwise because people probably wouldnt recognize my account without the radar. Should I change it? Also, when I saw quantity > quality, I immediately thought of Davester and Charizard. That alone proves the statement is untrue, LoL.

You know Texas Ben, the points you make are an understatement. Let me explain. The avatar. Alright, my is OneOneSeven. (who doesn't like him?) Even though it is Halo based, that doesn't mean I'm a spammer who wants to send you to hell. (Although I do.) By just posting this "guide" everyone else may think that "Whoa! I need to change my avatar to look like that cool guide that joined back in 2002." Which brings me to my next point. The join date. Whoop-dee-do. I joined at May of this year. That doesn't mean I'm new or old or anything revolving age at all. I'm a Bungie fan, here to make intellegent and cool posts and threads for everyone else to read. Besides, if you really want to go by join date, I joined up in [b]1991[/b] (j00 got pwned) when I was a young boy watching my Dad play Operation Desert Storm. So there. [b]Join Date should be removed, just like the post count, because it adds a pointless seniority system that isn't even effective to whatever it is trying to do.[/b]
