Public Event Zero Rewards since the PSN Outage?
Anyone else having this problem in Destiny? Ever since PSN came back up, when I do public events and get gold tier rating, I get nothing, nada, zip! OK, well, I do get the vanguard marks, but no ascendant materials, no engrams, no coins, no MOL. And I have done at least 25 gold tier events by now with the exact same result every time, nada.
Prior to the PSN outage I almost always got something extra in events. As a matter of fact, I counted on it for leveling my gear. Now all my gear progression has come to a dead halt since this started happening. Has it become permanently this way for everyone?
I dont believe this is an RNG issue, this appears to be a zero rewards issue. The chance of getting the exact same reward 25 times in a row (even if its null) with RNG is a numeric impossibility.
So the best question would be, Is this happening to anyone else?
If not, maybe I need to open a ticket.

Edited by Gaussian: 1/1/2015 10:35:05 AMOK, from a similar topic, it seems they may have changed the reward levels/chances for public events. So maybe your chance of a PE ascendant material is about the same as from a standard mob drop.
