Can someone explain this to me. We had 79 kills to their 70, yet they won by 10015 points to 9965.
True, they had more assists (36 to our 28), but that still leaves us with 500 point lead going by kills and assists.
You can see the game stats on my profile. Last game played. Firebase Delphi.
Does this mean that virtually all their kills were supers or heavies? Or that they got lots of multi kills?

The type of kills - Headshots, supers, heavy, kill streaks, etc.

because destiny http://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/690948
-
More headshots
-
Question though. Do bonus points really add to team score I thought they were just personal score? My guess is someone quit from their team
-
Nope it means someone quit and you can't see their score...
-
if a larger percentage of their kills where headshots it'd do it.
-
Those assists were worth a total of 400 points, depending on the kills, multi kills, super kills, heavy kills, multi heavy kills, shutdowns, kill streaks, there are any number of ways for them to get about....actually exactly 50 points ahead.
-
You got more kills. They got better kills.
-
Yeah all bonus point kills could put them past you

-
Don't you get bonus points for things like grenade kills, headshots, heavy weapon and supers? Seems to me your team had more vanilla kills than they did, hence they accrued more score.
-
Headshots, heavy kills, supers, kill streaks, various other medals, all add extra points. This isn't plain deathmatch where kills are all that matter, it's score-based, for better or worse.
-
Don't forget about dem assist points doe
