Ok so we all know that as of the release of the dark below expansion, there is extremely limited variation in vendor auto rifles unfortunately the worst of this is in regards to out beloved high impact low rate of fire variation such as the shadow price and vanquisher. instead we now have a massive influx of autos with moderate rate of fire and impact. this issue has been a huge topic of complaint since the dark below was released. unfortunately the issue isn't quite what most of the players i have seen on the forums thinks it is. The true issue it that on the original release of the game this moderate rate of fire variation was only present up to the blue rarity level the only exception being the exotic auto rifle the Monte Carlo, in response to this oversite at launch bungie chose to reintroduce this weapon type in the dark below expansion. Unfortunately bungie went about this is the wrong way entirely. the real problem is not that they added a huge number of this type to the game but simply that they eliminated alot of variation in the weapons available at vendors. the soul survivor of the low fire rate variation in vendor stock is the new monarchy auto the vanquisher. however the common interpretation is that this influx is actually a nerf to the auto rifle class. thankfully that is not that case these weapons were simply absent from the game at launch and bungie went about reintroducing them in a bad way. out low fire rate auto rifles will be back in later expansions, of this i am sure. however until then please give this game a fighting chance and understand that after the massive uproar about this issue im sure bungie will not make the same mistake again. Bungie im putting myself out there for you on this because this game is a massive undertaking and is going to have a lot of trial and error please do not do this again.
