The Crucible Maps may hold some story...

So while playing crucible repeatedly, lately I have started to explore more in the maps. At first they seem like just basic layouts and environments we have seen in the game, built for PvP combat. But after some searching, I think I have found some interesting things that may raise some points about the story. I'll list here what I have found, whether it be something we don't understand or the most obvious. Bastion: The large open area behind control point 'C', has many dead trees and a large cabal ship. But behind that to the right, far in the distance, a large cabal force can be seen. It's rare in this game we see the enemies in an organized, large-scale deployment. A large ground cannon can be seen shooting in the sky, looks like Cabal technology. There is a lot of gunfire shooting in the air at these ships; ships not seen anywhere else in the game. They have a "T" shape, hard to take a picture with how small and off in the distance they are. All looks to be of Cabal origin, definitely interesting to see their military capability. Grimoire Card, Bastion - "Thick, rugged terrain masks one of the largest Vex structures on Mars ... With the Cabal's interest in Vex activity, it was a matter of when, not if, they would set their sights here. The Cabal deployed a massive ground force to breach the wall and enter the subterranean labyrinth. We don't know what the Vex deployed in defense, but we know this: the Cabal didn't make it very far." So obviously this was a large-scale battle between the Vex and Cabal, even though no Vex are seen. Unless the gunfire shooting in the air is their's, but the Cabal cannon kind of disproves this. My question is, what is this "labyrinth"? The Black Garden? The Cabal-Vex war is something I wish to know more of. Cauldron: In the outside area, in one of the far corners, there are dead bodies laying and piled up on each other. A vandal and guardian, can be spotted, as well as a Cabal Legionary. His mask is off, so you can actually see what they look like under the mask too. The main question here is, why is there a Cabal soldier on the moon? Did the Cabal previously attempt to invade the moon and met with too much resistance? This was my first theory until ... Grimoire Card, The Cauldron - "Now secured and maintained by the crucible, scheduled study of it's remnants suggest a sacrificial purpose -- where other forms of life were given an audience with the reigning monarch and judged before the power of the darkness." The grimoire card also lists the Cauldron as a "hive ritual site." So the hive had contact and a means to capture Cabal? Weren't the darkness behind all the enemy races? The Burning Shrine: Grimoire Card, The Burning Shrine - "They do not simply invade new worlds, they infect them - remain them in their image until only Vex remain. ... The unknown energies and complex mechanics of the Shrine have been studied and mapped by the curious, yet its purpose remains a mystery." It is no secret the Vex took over Mercury and manipulated it. Everything about this is 'up in the air' as one could say. Why go to Mercury? Do Vex still remain there? Why are the Vex on Mars, Venus, and Mercury, yet skip Earth and its Moon? The same Citadel tower that is on Venus (will be used in House of Wolves), can be seen in large numbers when looking out in the distance on this map. My only thought is that Venus is in its transitionary period. However I feel Bungie will have future plans for Mercury, especially since they have the orbit of Mercury in the game. A DLC next year that revolves around the Vex on Mercury, maybe a Mercury Raid, would be great. Although it would probably be held to another Destiny game, if at all. (Takes notes DeeJ) P.S - Does anyone have the two Mercury grimoire cards? May hold some info. Anyways those are the most interesting peeks into the story behind the enemy races that I wanted to point out, especially after seeing it in-game. The Burning Shrine is the most obvious of course. Personally, I'd love to learn more about the conflict between the enemy races (with the Cabal/Vex one seeming to be the most deep-rooted and large one). The Hive/Fallen and Fallen/Vex seem to just fight since they are sharing the same space, where as the grimoire cards infer that the Cabal/Vex have a hatred for each other and actively target one another (grimoire card says this, will edit once found). Are they currently waging war in other parts of the galaxy? Did they all meet in our solar system? So many questions lol, hope you all give it a thought. While many have their sights set on the Traveler and humans/awoken, there is much to find behind the guns of our enemies. Will keep updating with pictures and more info, feel free to share any findings you guys have!
