Please, please, PLEASE do something about SUROS Regime.
I've been killed by SUROS Regime far more often than by any other weapon. It's so good it edges out every other assault rifle for those that have it, and just for good measure it also edges out pulse rifles and scout rifles. It's so good that if you have it, there are only a handful of other guns--two, maybe three--that make any sense at all to use.
It needs higher recoil and lower stability, or it needs lower impact.
EDIT: There are a couple of typical responses so far.
"You're just bad in the Crucible": You can check my profile, here or on Destiny Tracker. With my main, I have a 1.13 k/d overall and a 1.29 on Clash (my preferred game mode). I'm not particularly great, but I reliably contribute to my team, so I feel comfortable asserting that the problem isn't that I just suck.
"You're ruining the game": Yes, asking for a balance change to [i]one[/i] weapon is indeed going to ruin the game, whereas problems with progression, high cost of DLC relative to the amount of new content, ever-multiplying currencies and new content gates, etc. are just fine.
"You're killed by it a lot because it's popular": Okay, sure. But [i]why[/i] is it popular? There are other weapons, even exotic weapons, that are popular in PVE and that lots of people have access to. Why do people still pick SUROS Regime over those other choices?

I never felt the suros is op, sure it's powerful yeah. But you can beat it with other weapons, and half the time no one ever uses an auto rifle that i see. I used the atheon and i have to say, i outgunned a few surous users with it. I only used it for the thorn bounty or was it bad juju? i honestly don't remember, but point is. Any weapon can can beat any weapon. You just need enough skill to do so, guns don't make you good, you make you good.

It's just a gun it's not like your 1 kill away from a moab and a camper gets ya you can out play anygun just recognize their weapon and stay moving guardian

3 RepliesI have Suros's on two of my character and I will fully admit can feel the easy-mode compared to my 3rd character. It's crazy stability gives it a massive edge at range. Shadow Price or Vanquisher will beat it at close range but not at any sort of real distance. It really does need a small stability nerf, the last change Bungie made was meaningless and didn't actually tackle the real problem.

Sure the Suros kills me a lot but the Vex Mythoclass is higher up on that list for me. Someone with decent skill gets that gun and I can't figure out a solid strategy to out gun them. Anyone have any tips? I hold a 1.9 kd. Just that one gun gives me loads of problems.

I think most people have no integrity, they just use whatever they think is best. I used scout rifles before the patch, because I'm a semi automatic guy and I will keep my integrity.

3 RepliesWhy is the Suros popular? The tears of all the crying about it have made it a God gun. When in fact it is just mediocre, and players that know anything use Shadow Price, Vanquisher, Grim Citizen, Shingen, Hushwind, Up for Anything, etc. All out class the Suros.

They only pick suros because it's much more easy to use than any other primary for getting easy kills. But it is by far not the best auto rifel. Or primary. My rng shadow price beats 80% of the time. I don't have a single friend out of 50 that use it In the crucible as they are not noobs. Suros users are cod camp babies. Now. Also my voc kills over suros so does my dead orbit scout rifel.. out of the last 20 clash I played I got killed once with suros.. saying that only because you can see that they are starting to drop off since people are finding much better guns. Don't worry friend you'll see them less and less as the weeks go on. It's a waste of an exotic slot. Trust..

Love your handle name… Honestly, I am hit more-often and harder and faster by the Murmer/Plan C type fusion rifles more than any Regime. I dunno, you may be fixating. The map matters as well as team-v-foe : It's a matrix. I do know I enjoyed this Iron Banner for the first time, but refuse to cross the picket lines and Crucible again.

3 RepliesEveryone knows that the SUROS is overpowered. They just don't seem to care. Go on Destinydb and compare its stats to every other auto rifle. At base, the thing is a monster that should never have left the drawing board. Then Bungie had the bright idea to double up on damage perks on that weapon.

1 ReplyIt's an exotic, it is intended to make you feel inadequate. It has to separate itself from rares and legendaries. It feels over powered because you're playing pvp in a system and with weapons designed for the bullet sponge that is pve. The crucible is more of an afterthought. If you're going to ask for a gun nerf, why not nerf supers, abilities, grenades, etc? I believe the suros should be able to do what it does because it was obviously Bungies intent for it to be that way. They designed, modeled, tested this weapon this way so quit trying to tell them how to do their jobs.

Suros really isn't that good. Top tier, sure. But it's not Thorn, any fusion rifle ever, or a decent shotgun. To say nothing of the bullshit that is pretty much every Titan ability ...
