Just thought I'd share with anyone who is in need of a good loot run, especially if you're short of Spirit Bloom, or just looking for a good place to farm in general. My favorite loot patrol spot lately has been The Cinders on Venus,. The loot is neverending, and the chests give rewards out of proportion to any that I've found on Earth, the Moon, or Mars. You will want to start by the platform on the right and work your way around the perimeter killing Fallen; make sure to go into every cave for loot chests while you're at it. (There's one cave that is concealed to the left of the lower platform, by a small pool, just look along the wall behind the rock formation and you'll find it. Sorry I don't have a video link.) The chests spawn fresh every time you make a fresh turn around, so a cave where there wasn't a chest before will probably have one the next time. I've been finding many caves with a chest in them 2 or 3 times in a row. The chests themselves are amazingly full of goodies; today, for instance, one chest I opened contained armor, a weapon, spirit bloom, and an Ascendant Shard, while another had a Strange Coin along with the other loot. It's normal to find chests with 3 or 4 items in them as you work your way around the circle, and the spirit bloom is often 2 to a chest. Meanwhile, there are droves of Fallen to kill and missions to complete, and a Fallen Captain spawns on the platform every few minutes if you are completing the bounty on killing their leaders. Burn some Ether Seeds while you're there and the glimmer will come rolling in, too. Remember, the more you kill, the more engrams drop. By the time I was done with a 1-hour run today I had over a dozen rare engrams, and I have picked up 2 Legendaries there this week. Public Events also spawn there once or twice an hour. It's one-stop shopping. Good hunting, Guardian! EDIT: Also, make sure to look on the platform where the Captain spawns, there is a chest that appears there from time to time; and if you jump up to the cliff above the platform, a loot chest is sometimes there as well. This week I found not 1, but 2 Rare ship blueprints in the Cinders as well. I keep deciding to do "just one more time around" and staying for 20 minutes, but it's always been worth my while.
