Forum Wish for Stosh and SketchFactor
I wish you could see more topics from the main Underground forum. Seeing only the ten most recent just won't cut it in my opinion. I know it'll load faster, but I think even just bumping the number up to 20 would be a great improvement. There's my two cents

There goes all hope of getting custumizorolorohoro... this is getting out of hand, custumizability back. :( It's nice to know the reason though. And it must have just been slower at your end because the new site is slower for me on my 56K (but oddly faster now on this T3).

This new forum is great! I can see much thought was put into the making of it and how the old problems get fixed. I am sure everyone who worries about the Bungie site will find a way to solve all the items they feel needs work soon.

YES, there should be an option in prefs about how many per page (20, 25, 30, etc.) Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... my bad i did it again! I g2g to bed. Here's a little wish from me; who all are the mods? I have a nifty tool bar here, but no option to release death out with a ninja (big grin). So in simple who all are mods on the Septagon and Underground?

Yep, we are working on these types of tweaks and improvements. Expect the site to continue to evolve over the next few weeks and months. Keep the suggestions coming!

I saw achronos post some thing about in the future there will be 25 on a page. there was a bug or some thing when they were testing out 25, so they stuck with 10 for now, but I think in the future they are planning for 25.

The problem with the old forum was that it was too slow. It required a seperate server just for the caching of it. And the reason it was too slow was primarily because of all the customizable stuff. So we're being careful this time, adding the customizably stuff only after we know how it impacts performance, not before. That, of course, isn't the reason why there are only 10 topics and 10 posts on a forum page. That's because I was going to bump it up, but a bug in the forum code prevented me from doing so. The bug will eventually be fixed (probably in a service release, though, not a quick hotfix). More than likely there will be at least 25 posts on a page, assuming performance is okay with that number. Don't worry about it - I want more posts per page too. I hate the 10 limit. :) Oh, and stosh can't do anything but moderate the forums and take credit for things. He didn't write the system. Rip Saw: Stosh was given moderator status by Bungie for the main forums of b.net for the new version. He was the moderator for the septagon before, but now the Septagon doesn't seem to be Chapter Founders' forum any more - the chapter forums are still in the old threaded listing style. So yeah, he's had moderator status for all the forums since the new b.net came online. - Reiginko
