The Silence Is Deafening

One week has gone by and we have yet to receive our newest weekly update. It's time for Bungie to step up and describe their future plans for this game. Not just some stupid crap about who voices Eris. They need to step up and accept all the bad reviews and explain to the public what is going to unfold in the next few months, not the next week. Bump if you agree and post about what you want to be addressed in their next update! Let's gets this noticed guardians! Edit: now that the update has been released let me know what you guys think. Did Bungie address their problems or make new ones?

  • First off I really do enjoy Destiny. I've been a Bungie fan since Marathon. That said it seems as though Bungie is focused on making Destiny more rigid then polishing what is currently there and expanding the content to allow players to have more variety in their daily plunge into the Destiny world. The developer seems to be totally obsessed with "fixing" issues that aren't issues. Updates come out "fixing" cheese spots for bosses or creative ways to eliminate certain bosses. The best example for me is the Templar being pushed off the map with grenades in the Vault of Glass. These did not take away from the players experience and did not make the game less enjoyable. Players could choose how they would like to defeat a boss. Instead of focusing people power on "fixing" those things why not tidy up some actual glitches and/ or oversights that bother players and do affect their experience? Some examples are the post update gear drops from the Vault of Glass, chests that can't be opened and a dissapointing amount of content from the last DLC. Again I really do enjoy playing Destiny however it will get old quick and there isn't currently enough on the horizon to hold interest. I realize that Bungie did not tailor the game specifically to my needs or wants however I do hear the same or similar complaints from the other players that I play with. Destiny mechanically is a great game. A few extra planets and a revised experience and leveling system would be fantastic. Light level is neat and original however the expansion has just made if frustrating and it eliminates the fun of collecting awesome gear based on features other than the light value. I truly hope that Bungie is listening and creating content that will expand the experience and extend this game's shelf life for years to come.
