Is anything being done about...
Is anything being done about pre dark below legendary weapons being not as good now?
I think it's bullshit that anyone with vision of confluence or atheons epilogue or any of the awesome rare legendaries won't be using them any more. I understand why bungie have done it, but this just gives me less insensitive to play [i]at all[/i] because my progress is going to be thrown away when House Of Wolves is out.
I've seen ideas about gunsmith, so I won't go over it again, but does anyone know if bungie have said anything regarding the clearly wide spread opinion that legendaries should be brought up to par somehow?

Edited by TheFrozenInferno: 12/17/2014 1:22:07 AMI'm still using my VoC and Epilogue until the base game goes above Lvl.30 (Nightfalls, Weekly's, Strikes etc) At the current moment they are still perfect for everything in the game except for the late stages of Crota raid where enemies are above 30. If there is nothing done to extend the shelf life of VoG raid weapons by the time HoW comes out it will be a sad day. I love Epilogue and VoC and since I only started playing about 1.5 months ago I haven't had much time to enjoy them. Hell, I just got my Epilogue last week and maxed it a few days ago. I'd do anything to get them to 331.

2 RepliesNo. If you want gear for the higher level of content, you need higher level gear. Every game with MMO-style gear tables has been this way. I'm certainly grateful they did upgrade exotics, but that's because the right exotic can completely change the way you play your character. Even outside this metric, think about an awesome gun you got in Borderlands. Worked great for a few levels, maybe even for 10. But eventually, the enemies got too tough for that weapon to be of any use anymore. So you had to search for a replacement. Similar concept, but handled more like an MMO.
