Does Dragon's Breath need a buff?
I know it's early in the DLC
But the new hyped exotic rocket launcher is junk.
The Dragon's Breath gets beat by pre DLC Legendary rocket launchers, in fact it gets beat by ever single one I have compared it to, with only killing on direct impact and barely harming on close proximity shots.
THE DRAGON'S BREATH NEEDS A BUFF OR IT WILL NO SURVIVE AS A WEAPONS.

One word... Taikionaut.
-
Lol, imagine Y2 Dragons breath with Taikonaut. That will be an absolute boss destroyer!
-
Good morning
-
Who bumped this?
-
Taikionat+Crucible= Max trolling I want to try that in Mayhem now lmao
-
Why was this bumped
-
Need tracking
-
You should exchange "...let it fail" To "Let it Fall." It sounds cooler
-
-
Why would someone necro this?
-
Whoa necrobump
-
weeeee

Necroooo

I think it's a great rocket. Compared to gjalla and truth, not so much. But alone, dragons breath is a super strong weapon if you know how to use it to your advantage.
-
It needs tracking. That's it. It has the biggest blast radius of all the rocket launchers. I would like an option to turn that solar flare off also.
-
When the rocket explodes a cluster of 5-6 flares should spread out from the core explosion.
-
It already has buff. Its called gjallahorn.
-
I haven't had any issues with it, granted I don't use it often in crucible. Just got it on Saturday, so I guess that's my excuse. It seems to function perfectly fine for me.

Most definitively needs a buff. To sum up Dragon's Breath it looks cool but basically what is does is leaves a grenade where enemies were just blown away. This means this solar flare is pointless. Also, when enemies do somehow get burned by this solar flare they literally FLOAT, Yes float, away from it. So basically this is a solar rocket launcher that does have a magazine clip of 3, but doesn't track or have a special ability and is taking up an exotic slot. HOW TO FIX THIS!!! The solar flare that is left by Dragon's Breath needs to have the Vortex effect. Ya I know the solar flare Warlocks throw on Sunsinger doesn't have this ability. Well guess what, the Wolf pack rounds from a G-Horn are basically a Swarm Grenade (Hunter class) THAT WORKS WAY BETTER THAN THEY SHOULD. Imagine if you fired your G-Horn and the Wolf-pack rounds just sat their and did nothing. This is what Dragon's Breath does. It shoots a rocket leaves a grenade that does nothing. A G-Horn shoots a rocket and the seeker Grenades (wolf Pack rounds) aggressively seek nearby targets. All I am saying is the Solar Grenade left by Dragons Breath should suck in nearby targets for a short period of time. So the solar flare actually does something. If they don't buff this then that means this rocket that I am describing already exists and there will probably be a Void rocket launcher in the next DLC.

Sure let's cry about it until it gets buffed then when its too op let's all cry nerf until it gets brought way down to deal the same amount of dps as the NLB.
-
Definitely. 1. For an exotic it needs tracking 2. It should create a burn effect over time or it need to create small cluster bomb solar flares on the ground. Ultimately it should be fun to use, I don't see a lot of people using it.
-
Instead of Solar Flare, I would've liked "Scorched Earth" - a solar version of "Fist of Havoc", with an upgrade called "Heatwave" which would be similar to FoH's "Aftershocks". When enemies are touched by it, they ignite and explode when they die, like the Icebreaker shots.
-
I don't think it needs a buff.. I actually think it's a gun that has use in the hard raid.
-
It needs ignite

Edited by Dizco Pat: 1/10/2015 6:46:17 PMWhat if it had Firefly That doesn't require precision kills.

Rocket doesnt track Solar flare is weak and needs to be buffed Doesnt have clown mag Rocket doesnt detonate based on proximity Only good point is that it has 3 round tube Give me one of the above abilities and i will love it
