Has anyone done testing for Ruin Wings (Heavy Ammo Drop Titan Gauntlet)
I wanna if someone has done extensive testing to give an estimate on how often heavy ammo drops with it equipped.
Also, to know if this gauntlet is worth the Exotic slot.

The drop rate is noticeable.. And the ammo you do pick up fills up most rocket launchers (I think). For pve is straight beastly

For me heavy drops ever 1-3 kills on any enemies. Mine are fully upgraded.

4 RepliesTo me it seems like a heavy machine gun style armor. Using the Titan as a support orb producer to keep everyone's supers up. (I don't main Titan so I may be off) but the skill that makes you produce orbs with heavy. I was thinking about getting it for mine and actually giving the Titan another go as orb producer. Which you don't really actually see.

If it's anything like the corrective measure perk then I have no doubt it will be amazing. I would normally get anywhere from 30-80 rounds for a heavy machine gun when picking up an ammo pack. With corrective measures perk I would get anywhere from 150-200. Definitely worth it to me.

They are amazing. I love them. Being able to pick up one block and getting full ammo on a Gjallarhorn is awesome.

For me it was different for each mission I played. Sometimes there was a shitload of ammo, sometimes there was not more then usual.

I killed like 10 thralls with one blow holding the sword on the urn mission and literally every single one dropped heavy ammo.

I second what Spawn said. I go to the Divide and shoot rockets at the dropship that drops a Yellow bar vandal (I use this for the bounty) and it seemed like almost every wave, I'd get one or more heavy ammo drops. At one point I had 4 blocks laying on the ground with maxed mag and reserve, and that was with raid boots.

Just got them and they look incredible! Stats also great, just getting them unlocked. Would recommend.

The heavy ammo drops are noticeable.It works especially well when you combine it with Raid boots for maximum heavy ammo capacity. There were sections where I was running 7 Gjallarhorn shots with 5 stacks of purple ammo sitting on the group during the nightfall waiting for me to burn them. You basically have unlimited Heavy Machine Gun ammo. I also just finished maxing them out. They're +36 light, definitely worth an exotic slot Titans.
