I have been doing a lot of thinking about how Destiny says that this game is/was supposed to be an MMO and that there is unique character creation and armor all around. -Factions: (New Monarchy, Dead Orbit, Future WarCult and Vanguard) You should get to pick one in the beginning of the game. This way weapons and armor are unique to that specific faction and there for the characters who pick that faction. Maybe also have unique quest per faction that only that faction gives out aside from the general bounties. Also on that note the raid gear and weapons would look different per the faction just to give the game a more customization feel. Maybe also have unique quest per that faction. The bounties would be the same of course besides faction specific bounties. -Nightfalls: I would like to see strange coins taken out of the nightfall because that is a big disappointment to me when I go through with friends and the outcome is coins instead of a legendary/Exotic weapons or armor. (just a personal thing) I do think that Nightfall should have its own Armor set. Think of it like this the chance is random for anything out of the Strike and you only get a unique armor only available through the nightfall, and instead of having to get new ones when a new DLC pops make it so that it evolves to the next stage with an item you get in the raid so you aren’t having to re-find that item. Possibly make it so its only 1 piece of gear instead of a full set. You have 1 chance to get it a week instead of like the raid where you get multiple chances per that week. Factions I feel should have their own area where only people of that faction may enter, just to make it unique to those players. On a note with the new armor in the vanguard that allows players to reach lvl 31. I personally find that painful when I saw that. I spent countless hours grinding away to reach lvl 30 for the expansion just so I can do the raid and wont be left behind. I not saying don’t help out but why not have the armor make them a 30 instead so they can also do some grinding and work for the next raid or even do the previous raid. That is my take on it anyways.
