Most of you had your chance at 30. The Iron Banner was the perfect opportunity for you all to get the gloves and boots you needed to get 30. All you would have needed was a chest piece and an exotic helm (the helm you could just buy from Xur). So, really, it would just come down to the chest armor. Or you could snag the Atheon cp from your friends and for a chance to get a raid helm. FACT: if you want better chances at gear, DO NOT (and I repeat) DO NOT do the normal raid AT ALL. I don't care if you are the worst 29 out there, get 30s or better 29s to help you with the hard raid. Bottom line is (for most 29s), you HAD the chance- you just weren't willing/ or could not put in the time. Sorry bros.
