We know what damage and impact does but what the hell does attack do? How is +23 attack significant without a damage increase?

The +23 increase, for crucible equates to Vex doing 46 on headshots rather than 36 lol And in PvE it is the best gun for close to mid range. No contest

Many people have different answers and yet seem to be absolutely sure of themselves. The only thing everyone agrees on is that it'll do full potential damage in the new raid. That's great... it's still a marshmallow shooter (well, average gun at least) in PvE. So the only thing it's really good for is the raid because of its attack. That's like being stranded on a lush island untouched by the nuclear holocaust with the ugliest fattest person on earth to procreate with. The Vex Mythoclast is still a nerfed POS.

deals more damage to level 32 enemies in hive raid
-
Impact is a percentage of your attack. 50 impact of 100 attack before = 60 impact of 120 attack now as an example. Impact causes damage. Upping attack ups impact which ups damage. Same like every other upgrade we have made in the game so far with weapons.

More damage in pve
-
The more attack the more consistent your damage output is on higher level enemies.
-
Damage is not a stat only impact an attack bro
-
It does a lot more damage now than pre patch used it on the daily lvl 28 and it wrecked everything quick.
-
Nothing really. Means you can do full damage to level 32 enemies. All of the exotics will be upgraded to 323 Attack, VM just got it early. Makes it seem like they buffed it but the reality is its not very helpful.
-
This allows the gun to be taken into the new raid and do full damage potential if not a little more because 320 will be the new weapon cap
-
It's one louder now isn't it?
-
23 moar
-
They made the mythoclast viable for the Dark Below raid.
-
Lol ran it once the patch came out. Easy answer, not much

Edited by Zelrons: 12/1/2014 11:58:34 PMAs far as I can tell the attack rating is a reflection of the effect you'll have on certain level enemies in PvE. Since they are supposedly raising the level cap to 32, perhaps the hive raid will have enemies of equal level.
-
umm. Okay it went from doing 300 crit. to 600 crit. Answers your question?
-
Umm well a simple explanation is it does more damage.
-
Well that is just base damage. Once you throw on perk modifiers it will increase.
