I've done the raid 2.5 times. I don't have it all committed to memory. I don't know all the chest locations. But the first time I found a group that would take me, it was extremely intimidating. Certain gear was required, other gear was forbidden, and there seemed to be an implicit familiarity that I did not possess. That's where this post comes in. After all, [i]in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.[/i] I'm interested in taking a group of complete novices into the Vault. That's not to say I want to take a bus load of children, but a group of 27+ lvl, competent, but inexperienced Guardians into the Vault and learn the sites, sounds, and smells of the Vault. This isn't with the intention of completing it in record time. In fact, I don't expect to finish it. But everyone who wants to learn to use the Relic will have a chance to do so (myself included--when people yell "LEFT BUMPER", it means nothing to us Jumper control scheme users). If we finish it, great. If not, we all learned something and hopefully got a few chests in the process. Again, you'll need to be reasonably equipped. I don't want to beat our heads against the wall because everyone is using blue pea-shooters. And yes, you'll need a mic. I know that's hard for some, but it's a requirement in the vault. It will be relatively slow-paced. Extremely forgiving of mistakes. And no-pressure. There's still a lot I want to know about the vault. But I don't want to learn on others' time. Hopefully there are others like me. I don't have a date/time set for this, but want to gauge people's desire for something like this. Let me know what you think. I want to try it tonight some time, maybe around 8-9pm Eastern, but that's not firm.
