Now that you are an old hand at Destiny, what advice would you give a new player? Anything you figured out on your own you wish you had known sooner? My two biggest pieces of advice would be to get all your guardians to Vanguard rank 3 before joining a faction, so your Vanguard marks don't go to waste. And get your first character to crucible 3 so you can access those weapons. Secondly, I would tell a newbie to hoard shards and energy, especially energy, until you have the guns you want. 267 damage is plenty until you get into the heavy stuff. By then you will have your favorites and favorite types, and will be able to max those out without having to regret that one maxed weapon sitting in your vault that you don't really like.
