May I have a moment of your time please?
Alright Trading sounds good doesn't it?
Let's take at the main arguments for it first. One, it'll allow you to get rid of those duplicate goods or items you don't want for something good. Two, it will allow friends to try out their friend's gun or armor to get a feel for it before grinding for hours to get it and not waste their time. Three, the game runs on a RNG so it wouldn't matter about the level jumps for a select few. Sounds all nice and dandy right? I mean it worked out fine in The Borderlands series no?
Now for those against it...
One, trading could allow instant 30s. Two, exotics would become more common place. Three, more complaining.
What is your idea of trading? Comment below so this poll is actually seen by more than one or two users.

1 ReplyTrading rarity for rarity. Exotic/raid for exotic/raid (they're on par with each other so I don't see it becoming a problem.) Legendary for legendary Blue for blue...for whatever reason. Shader for shader So on and so forth. We could even step it up a notch and make it to where only clan members can trade, and only after they've both been in said clan for X amount of time. I don't see how this would be game breaking or cause problems, but if you do then please enlighten me.

Its lame how everyone thinks everyone will just be coughing shit up. But wouldn't they just trade with their friends? And what's so wrong with it. WoW turned out fine.

People act like that's too easy, but grinding and hoping on luck is boring, and you know trading would bring on microtransactions. They need custom gear to create individuality. Individuality is more important than rarity or elitism.

Let us trade at least 1 legendary a week. No exotics, because that's what they wanted to avoid. I've done the raid 10 times, have all the raid weapons, but do not have Timebreaker. My friend has gotten Timebreaker every time, but doesn't have all the raid weapons (he wants the heavies). Let us buy a Trans-Dimensional Compressor (trading consumable) from Xûr once a week. That gives us the trading we want, and still keeps the game balanced.

I'm not really sure how to make it fair. Like I would like to be able to trade but at the same time it puld be really stupid if you could have a buddy trade you ten exotics for free. There would have to be some way to value items or something

1 ReplyWhat would you trade for? There is no valuable currency except strange coins, and those are to scarce to trade for a bunch of upgrade materials. Glimmer is useless.
