I picked it up over the weekend and im enjoying it so far, the only thing is the aspect ratio(?) is to big for my screen (the minimap and mission objectives are slightly off the screen). Most games let you adjust this setting when you put the game in but I didnt see it. If someone knows how to adjust this please let me know, thanks!

Although it's basically Far Cry 3.5, it's fantastic in almost every way.

It's FarCry 3. Don't let anyone tell you different. It is FarCry 3. It's FarCry 3 in a new location, with new characters. That's......... not necessarily a bad thing. For now. FarCry 3 was an excellent game. As is FarCry 4. FarCry 4 is great, because it's FarCry 3. If you played and liked 3, you'll like 4. If you hated it, don't expect anything different from 4. I dearly hope they do something a little more different with FarCry 5, because I feel pretty soon people are gonna get bored with this same old pattern. Yeah, it's open world. Yeah, it's filled with stuff to do..... but it's the same stuff that was in FarCry 3. Here's hoping it doesn't turn into Ass Creed. Here's hoping they mix it up a little more in FarCry 5.

it's already been said but I will say it again: it's a better farcry3, though not in all respects. I'm not entirely finished the story, but so far it feels like there are less parts of the story where you will put off something else because you really want to know what's happening next. they also introduce things in less interesting ways. an example of this is the wing suit, you can just straight up buy it after like 2 story missions, where as I recall it seeming like the second coming of Christ when I got it in 3. I do feel like the game is better, but not really an objective upgrade.

Far cry 4 is far cry 3 on a ridiculously bigger and more diverse map. There is so much stuff to do that I spent 12 hours in one quarter of the map (give or take) and never got bored. And the new arena mode is really cool. But the gameplay feels very similar to far cry 3, but I like that.
