I require ninja assistance

I'm trying to stop people from posting threads in the wrong locations. (I.E. recruitment in gaming and community, destiny in bungie, off topic in feedback, etc) but my efforts do not seem to be getting me anywhere. I request some help from the ninjas on this one. can we get threads up in these locations to reduce spam? Can we have a ninja or two dedicated to moving lfg posts to recruitment? These forums need cleaning up, and I can't do much by myself.

  • Probably should have put this under "help".

  • I was just going to make a somewhat similar thread. The Ninjas are doing as much as they can, but have seemed to be absent the past few days. As much as we'd like, they can't be on the site 24/7. Sadly the new users are not respecting the requests of people who wish for them to post in the appropriate forums. There are a few solutions though, each one kind of controversial: - grant more mentor status to some users so that they can help in the effort of moving threads - unleash the fury of the banhammer (I know they're not always breaking the CoC, but I think it's time for a change concerning that. We need b.old levels of rules, this CoC just doesn't cut it IMO) - rename the app to the Bungie app again, that'll cause less people to believe the forums are solely for Destiny -bring back sticky threads so a thread can be posted at the top of each forum describing the uses of each forum Again, these aren't the best/ideal ideas, but something has to be done to get the point across. I really appreciate the work Bungie has done to clean up the forums so far, and it is a work in progress, but slowly over the past week or so the forums have been reverting back to what the site was like for the past few months.
