I'm an American - I prefer running VoG with British or other European people
Anyone else feel this way? They just tend to be more...pleasant than rando Americans.
Americans are like all loud and "-blam!- ya! 'murica baby!" and Europeans are all like "greetings mate, would you care to partake in an Aetheon run?"

Agreed Americans are cool I play with one who's funny as -blam!- when he gets angry enough but the Europeans damn their accent is awesome.

Seriously it was like he was speaking a foreign language. He thought I sounded posh, like a posh farmer mucking out the cow shed or something. Most laughs I have ever had on xbl. Also, I don't mind Brits or Americans. Both polite.

British and Australians are really fun to play with. I love listening to their accents in my head when raiding, and they're generally chill about everything.

Firstly I'm British so thanks! Secondly, I also find British people are more relaxed whereas Americans take it more seriously. I know it's not true for everyone because I know some really cool Americans but that's just my opinion

Im an aussie and my main raid group is mainly all american and there good to play with. Mayb iv met the good 1s? Also i play with Canadians british and a couple from Holland. The only problem i have is sometimes there accent confuses me but apparently mine does to them aswell.

As a South African, the Americans I team up with on raids and whatnot are generally polite and well-mannered. I often joke around with certain stereotypes that surrounds you yanks, but it's all in good fun. In the end, no matter where we come from, we all have a good time. It's all part of the game after all.

Did raid the other day with my friend so had us two (British) 2 american and 2 Australian and can happily say probably the easiest going raid team I have been in, much better than all British

6 RepliesAs an American who tends to mimic accents rather well.. You get those moments when you play with two friends, one who is British, and the other is Dutch.. I always tended to use the Australian accent with the Dutch chap, and a British accent with the British friend.. Then of course, they hopped into the same lobby. Upon discovery of my mimicry, they both asked what I really sounded like. I decided to use the stereotypical African Drug lord accent for that. I think I made my friends laugh too hard, as one soiled themselves.
