PROOF of Fake 30's
At first I didn't really care about the whole REAL and FAKE 30's discussion until I played the raid today with a FAKE 30. He had 2 pieces of Raid gear and exotic helmet and IRON BANNER Guantlets. Everybody in the fire team seemed to know what they was doing until we got to the Confuxes he didn't even know you couldn't be revived! So I asked have you done the raid on hard? His answer was no when they said you could get to level 30 from iron banner gear I just felt no need to do the hard raid. We did finally finish but we had to carry him through.
I don't believe every 30 that had to do Iron Banner to get there is fake or bad but I finally see why people call them fake.
What are your opinions on the FAKE and REAL 30's?

A level 30 Iron Banner player is more skilled overall than a level 30 PvE player. You can learn, outsmart, and trick an AI. You can't do any of that to real people because they are just as intelligent and unpredictable as you are. A level 30 through raid gear is pure luck. A level 30 through the Iron Banner is skill and dedication. (NOTE: There will be ones like you talked about who don't listen to reason but that is because of who they are and not their gear. They would be the same whether they earned it in the Iron Banner or through Normal raids. There are actually people being kicked just for having Iron Banner gear so don't go spreading around these messages because it just spreads the hate.)

I have two IB piece on me because it's suits best my setups. After almost 40 completed raids with 20 hards ( without counting all the half runs I've done to help) I never got the gauntlets. I feel I can show some tricks and stuff on hard to many people, even experienced.

I think that if you get Level 30 from iron banner gear because you're missing that or piece after so many raids, fine. If you get to level 30 from iron banner gear after getting a misc. piece of raid gear from a half-raid then getting the rest IB gear and exotics, then yes, you are a fake level 30.

2 RepliesSo the 30 with all raid gear except helm who picked up the relic after I got told not to because I'm only a 29 ( this is on normal btw ) and kept dying because the dumb arse was using RB to attack is a real 30 ? Please I need answers. I can't keep living lie.

People can run normal raid once and get all three peices of gear. Buy a helmet off xur. Boom level up 30. Iron banner has nothing to do with people being inexperienced. This whole real fake arguement is so stupid.

Doing the raid deoesnt mean ur a legit gamer. I can do the raid with me and 2 guys on hard. I lead a raid group in the very first week Raids were available and figured out the strategies without looking at youtube. Since then I've done every raid since including hm a few times. I only just last night got enough gear for level 30 and i needed iron banner for that. I've seen 30s that don't even know how to kill templar the legit way and struggled when aetheon cheese was nerfed. There are real and fake 30's on both sides of the fence.

It's just a level in a video game that everyone wants to obtain or has obtained...nothing more, nothing less. So someone grinds the IB to get gear to get to that level, how is that any different than someone grinding the raid week in and week out to get the gear to get that level. Who are you to judge how someone plays THEIR game the way THEY want to. Level 30 is level 30. Instead of bashing him on here maybe you should have helped the guy out and taught him how to do the raid. Did you ever think that maybe the way you acted is the reason he doesn't do the raid and decided to do the IB.

I purchased iron banner boots. Then another to see if we get shards for dismantling them. I got nothing. I am honestly disgusted with my iron banner boots. Cannot wait to get REAL ONES.

There is no fake and real 30. You can get all raid gear except helmet in normal raid. Thus, there is no need to do VOG on hard to get to lvl 30.
