Can i have a sword?
You could get a sword in halo, and you teased us with the sword of crota,
how about an actual set of melee weapons? i.e. a sword in the special weapons slot.
It doesnt even have to be good! i just want one.
What kind of MMO has warlocks and no swords?!?

5 RepliesI think what they need to do is add different melee weapons depending on class here's my idea Hunter- knife(fast,low dmg) Sword(mid,mid dmg) Great sword(slow, high dmg) Titan- gloves(fast,low dmg) Knuckledusters(mid,mid) Giant iron fists(slow, high dmg) Warlock- air push(fast,low dmg) Liquid push(mid,mid) Earth push(slow, high dmg) I think this would add more variety and strategy to PvP and PvE

1 ReplyYes, i think swords are a great idea, but with a few things that are necessary. First of all, only in pve, in pvp they would be overpowered. Also, i really hate that they have ammo like in halo, because it makes absolutely no sense. I feel like maybe it could be a special weapon, or something like that, because taking up a primary slot would just get you killed in strikes against knights and people like phogoth. Also, i think the sword of crota is a bit heavy and slow, and maybe the normal sword would be lighter like in halo.

8 RepliesIt might be cool, such as in the "Sword of Crota" mission, but this game is just to far in the future and so technologically advanced to have swords. That kind of stuff belongs in W.O.W or Diablo.

1 ReplyWhile it would be a cool idea, the only way they would make it balanced to only have a melee weapon would be for it to one shot people. Then you'd say it was imbalanced. Vicious cycle
