My experience with the Exotic Scoutrifle MIDA Multi-tool, "the weapon for Autorifle and Scoutrifle Hybrid's"

When I first saw the stats and upgrades of the MIDA Multi-tool I was expecting to be the bridge that connects "Impact" and "Rate of fire". When I finally obtained this scout rifle from a Tiger Strike (which I was shocked to see because I saw no "person got [exotic]" pop up) my guess wasn't that far off the mark. To a person who uses a Scoutrifle most of the time, the MIDA Multi-tool will be a odd (and maybe a little bit difficult) weapon to use. I say so because Scoutrifles focus on two main things, Range to hit enemies from afar and Impact so enemies don't come back up. Due to these two things Scoutrifles usually have low Rates of fire's, but to players "who like to keep their enemies at medium range and hate to miss" this isn't a big deal because it helps keep our shots accurate. With the Multi-tool the huge thing I had trouble getting used to was the higher rate of fire and the shorter range, I was getting annoyed with myself for missing at range's that with a regular Scoutrifle would of been a precision kill. I will admit that the rate of fire is nice, but in all honesty Id rather have a lower rate of fire and high impact. As of right now I just obtained its name-sake upgrade, I haven't had the chance to see it with my own experience but I'm a bit dreading it due to the experience I've had up to this point. [Final Judgement] To someone who uses Scoutrifles majority of the time playing Destiny, This isn't the weapon for you. I say this to those people because the high rate of fire make you give up the Impact and Range you have gotten used too and possibly helped kept you alive up to now. MIDA Multi-tool is more of a Bullet hose then a weapon of precision, the description of its final upgrade even proves this "This weapon boosts move speed and fires on a hair trigger". Hair trigger translate to "Last Word, Scoutrifle version" to me which makes it a ideal bullet hose that can also be used to get precision shots. To people who use Autorifles but also like to get some headshots, the MIDA Multi-tool is a ideal weapon for you. [Edit I] I redact what I said about the range because up till now I was making full use of the high ROF (and that's why my accuracy suffered) after I did a firing speed that was same as the Scoutrifle that I normally used my accuracy increased. Disclaimer (This is mine and my own opinion from my first hand use of the MIDA Multi-tool, my experience with it CAN be different then yours, this is no excuse to say that I am wrong and should sell my game or whatever haters or people who don't like other people having different opinions from their own say.)
