tbh when I first heard about this 10 year life span was it was going to be only 1 Disk but 10 years worth of Expansions and etc. But then again...this is Activison we are dealing with so 10 Call of Destiny games will be made

I really do not the desire in having multiple disks that require changing to continue the story. Maybe Bungie could make it in the fashion of clicking the particular volume from a main menu [if taking the hypothetical singular disk].

9 RepliesThe sad thing is, they're already making it. The only real attention Destiny is getting now, aside from minor tweaks to it for patches, is the DLCs coming, and those are probably already done and sitting there waiting to be released. But anywho, they'll throw out Destiny 2, and everyone will hope it'll have more content and be so much better than the first Destiny, but you know what? It won't be. Sure, it'll continue the story Destiny attempts to tell, but from what we've seen already, the original ideas of what the story was going to be looks like a mess now. Destiny 2 will likely be pressed thin, just like this one, because they still have DLC, and yet another sequel they want to sell you. This entire franchise, is a money grab.

Yeah dude, sorry but i think Destiny 2 will be a proper game. A full game. I personally believe they chopped up the game to be able to sell on 360/ps3. Fudge Activision... Check vid for theories.

The call itself is public knowledge per sec regulations. My biggest concern is Bungie pulling an EA like they did a few years ago and one of the madden games was really buggy. EA came out publicly on their forums (and I still can't believe they said this) and said " if we fix this years game we won't have as much time to work on next years game". Now if Activision and Bungie take that stance internally, the vault and all this other stuff will never get fixed.

How about destiny 1.5 it's just this game only with all the stuff that got cut or they didn't have time to finish.

6 RepliesBungie has an issue, and that issue is a parasite called Activision. Now, Bungie needed activision so they would have the money to fund the publication of Destiny, however, activision came in and attempted to make Destiny into CoD instead of letting Bungie do what they do best, which is making memorable, enjoyable game series. So if activision would back off, Destiny would be the game it was meant to be.

I don't think Destiny 2 will do as well as the initial release sales. The game was way over-hyped and got people to purchase deluxe editions with the season pass etc. I highly doubt most people will even buy in on release date due to how badly activision and bungie robbed the fanbase. They lost me and my friends as customers for this flop of a game and any future purchases. We are never buying an activision or bungie game again. We will buy Destiny when activision sells it to 343

3 RepliesIf at all possible, they should develop the sequel free of activision. Beyond that, a "next gen only" sequel would allow so many more awesome possibilities.

We are most likely get 4-6 expansions because destiny 2 won't be out for at least 2-3 years. I have no problem with a part of the huge Bungie team starting on Destiny 2 already the more they work on it the better it will be.

3 RepliesHonestly, I dont mind a sequel. I just hope I get to keep my stuff from game 1. I mean. I dont want to spend hours getting better armour and playing through and grinding my Guardian to higher levels, only to have to restart him in game 2! All I ask for Bungie is "Please, dont make me start a new character."
