Wouldn't it be cool if there were some new weapon types? Some possible ideas that I had in mind were: Dual Wield Hand Cannons: Not like dual wielding The Last Word and a Thorn but they had their own types of hand cannons. Maybe something like Thorn just a little nerfed. Rail guns: Like something out of Halo 4. It would take a second to charge and then on impact it would explode. Like an explosive fusion rifle. SMG's: I know that there are auto rifles out there that handle like an SMG but I mean like an actual SMG; small, compact and it handles smoothly. The auto rifles that they already have that are fast shooting, shoot all over the place. Grenade Launchers: There would be grenade launchers that would shoot arc grenades or a Warlock fire grenade. They wouldn't have wonderful range but they would still cause a fair bit of damage. Crossbows: Who wouldn't love to shoot people with a crossbow? Pistols: Nothing special, they have hand cannons so it would only make sense to have regular pistols. Maybe a couple full auto pistols. Now I know some people are going to say that some of these may not fit into this game but these are just some of my personal ideas that I thought would make Destiny more interesting
