I have 2 level 27's and i would like to start getting the vault, but I need to set up a time frame that I can be unavailable to finish the fault (sorry real life ;) ) I haven't done it before, roughly how long does it take?
-
About half hour to two hours depending on how coordinated you are with your team
-
First time? Probably 1.5 hours. You'll need a few runs/deaths on atheon to get the flow. After you beat it once, 30min if your team doesn't suck at platforming. I've had to wait 20+ minutes on the other side while people fail the jumps after the maze over and over.
-
Depends how many times the teleporters screw you over. You're looking at an hour+ for a good run at least. Then when you know whats what and you git gud brah time will be shaved off.
-
Realistically your looking at 1 to 1.5 hours if your with a team that have run it before the first run I did took almost 4 hours but none of us had a clue and it had just started. In recent weeks we tend to run in under an hour. The main time issue is how many times you wipe if because you start from the checkpoint. Good luck guardian!
-
Yeah, I was expecting 1-2 hours. it's not really playing for that long that is the problem, it's telling real life to wait a minute (or hour) and I didn't want to be that guy glued to a chair for 4 or 5 hours, you know?
-
Go with a team who knows what they're doing and around 60min if its your first time
-
To the idiots commenting below with these 30-45 mins runs... You do realize he is new to the vault, OP realistically 1hr-2hr
-
Are you running with an established team? Do you have some idea of what to expect? That will determine whether or not it takes 35-45 mins or 3 1/2 hour.
-
With a good group who has experience, it can be done in under an hour.
-
Your first trip into vault generally takes a bit longer. However, expect to be busy for about 3 hours. You'll need time to find everyone for the group, opening the door and getting set for the first fight. If you have a group all set, then expect to be busy for about an hour and a half. It takes communication, team work, and a little luck. I would suggest getting your two guardians up another lvl to 28, just to give you that extra edge for your first time. Enjoy your first trip, and most importantly, have fun!

I'm up for a raid (normal) if anyone else wants to do it.
-
Obviously set your time frame for the high side so around 2 hours. I did it for my first time last week with a group of experienced players and it took around 1 hour and 30 minutes or so. They will have to stop and explain everything to you at each point so u know what to do and what not to do.

Edited by iximinionixi: 11/22/2014 3:56:16 PMnormal 45mins-1hr hard 1hr if it take the group you are with longer than that you guys suck
-
Then add in copious wipes for raid bug, terrible frame rate, health regenerating gatekeepers. Don't know if this is a bug or intended, but relic bearer cannot revive players.
-
Approx 1 hour. Less if your know the shizzle fo rizzle, more if your not as familiar with it. But I'd say average 1 hr.
-
If you have a good team it can be less than a hour an average probably 1 hour to 2 hours
-
Run it only five times, average about 2-3 hours
-
Me and my crew finished it in 48 min.
-
Add me I'll run you through it with my team Psn KAgunslinga-
-
You can run it in about half an hour if you have a competent team that never fails. How much longer it takes than that, depends on the strength of the team running it.
-
Anywhere between a half hour and an hour. Depends on the competence and knowledge of your team and whether or not you're running it legit. Vex Gates - 5 minutes. Confluxes - 10 minutes. Oracles - 10 minutes. Templar Legit - 5-10 minutes. Templar Push - 1-5 minutes. Gatekeeper - 5 minutes. Atheon - 5 minutes. Legit Run ~ 40 minutes. Push Run ~ 30-35 minutes.
