Open World, Adaptive Story Games are da future

So, everyone's going for open world. It's more work, but it gives players more freedom, it's closer to real life. Eventually games are gonna be friggin, impossible to differentiate from actual existence it seems. I'm tellin ya. In any case, more choices definitely=better. Where's the replay value in a game where story is the same every time, unless it's the most awesome gameplay ever.

  • Very interested to see Day Z make its way to PS4, and Elders Online when it finally gets here. Essentially Skyrim with 2-3 friends would be awesome, especially in next gen graphics. I'm not fussed about how many random real people could be in the world with me, eg doesn't have to be mmo size real player base, but a need to have some of my friends in the game to help me survive would be good.
