For the kids who say RNG isn't "earning."
It's still earning it if you go back and kill him on hard every week... The only way it wouldn't be earning it was if you bought it from XUR. This whole debate that raiding and RNG isn't earning is stupid this whole game is [b]based[/b] on RNG. The butthurt kids who are playing IB to earn their level 30 are the only ones who complain that RNG isn't earning because they never got a good drop from the raid. Guys gotta give it a break and think about it. The WHOLE game is based on RNG except IB now. So who's really earning it when you raid for a month straight on hard and finally get the helmet you need for 30, or play the IB with a buff he gives you for a week and BUY your armor. Let that sink in.
Edit 1: This is [b]NOT[/b] a rant, simply me stating my opinion on the matter based on personal experience doing the raid and playing the iron banner.

You both play hard raid one person gets vex another doesn't. You both beat the raid so shouldn't both EARN the vex? Because based on the definition of earning you both put in the same amount of work right? Wrong it's RNG so whoever gets it gets it regardless. You play weekly strike you get 9 coins. Regardless of whatever you WILL get 9 coins. Earning. You take your EARNINGS and buy a weapon. Pure and simple. Self made millionaire vs Lottery Millionaire Who earned their millions? The one who put in the time to make the money Lottery millionaire....random selection Principle still stands RNG is not earning it's RNG
