I got a "poor connection"
At least thats what the game says. I do not experience any problems, and people i team up with don't experience it as well. still when im in crucible people tell me i'm cheating because of my so called bad connection. So as honest as i am i try to troubleshoot, and find out that every single device that can tell me my internet connection says it is as good as it gets. for al you so called wizkids who think they know it all i live in the netherlands, and our internet is one of the fastest in the world. Other games i play do NOT i repeat NOT have any problems regarding to a poor internet connection. So why does destiny tell me i have one?

Dude a bazillion people have this problem. It's destroying crucible matches left and right. Today I saw... ALL 12 of us in the match with "Poor" connection speeds. That's NOT us bro. It's bungie.

Im in the red almost every game yet on all other devices the connection is fine. Speedtest says 22mb down and 1mb up with 32 ping. Im connected via wifi to my router but shouldnt matter too much as the connection is full bars on all devices i use. I have fibre optic btw. Also ps4 says nat 2 so i think its bungies servers as never had issues with online games before on ps4.

4 RepliesYour internet connection doesn't matter the signals can only travel so fast and you're probably pretty far away from the servers.

I have a solid connection as well, I don't have any lag issues with any other games yet in 90% of the people in the crucible are either in red or yellow bar, Bungie needs to spend less time fixing things that don't need fixing and work on the real issues yet there is no mention on how bad their multiplayer part of this game is, kill trades left and right due to a poor netcode, DICE denied they had a bad netcode for close to a year and as droves of people left that game they admitted they needed to fix it and have been working on a fix, Bungie spend less time worrying about people pushing Atheon off the ledge and fix the core problems of this game Bugies reply to this post would be something like this, "didn't read"

I'm connected via fiberglas-cable to one of the most innovative networks in the world here in cologne - 100/10 Down/Upload-speed. Everything works fine, I have ping-times like 18-20ms to servers all around the world and still Destiny keeps telling me anything in between bad to perfect - even changing from minute to minute.. Just a few minutes ago it even told me that I have a strict configured NAT which is absolute nonsense. The PS4 build in tool tells me that I have a NAT-2 and I haven't changed my setup in the last year. I wouldn't bother, just keep playing!
