I don't understand
I don't understand , I grab 6 friends and head to Venus for the Vault of Glass. We are at the Aetheon fight when we kill him, my friends are like "Oh my god Aetheon's epilogue finally!" The five times I have beaten this raid I always get shards or energy. I only have ONE price of raid armor! All I want is raid armor, please.

this is why I most of Destinys players have not gone much further than the basic story. they wanted to, but saw how -blam!-ed up it all is and figured they have better thing to do. My family has turned my character into a shared utility , no point everyone grinding it out. Instead just play a bit here and there and if it ranks up well and good. I have a bunch of xbox credit set to expire so I need to buy new games anyway.

Im in the same spot. I was very shocked today when i finally got atheons epilogue. Ive been on that thorn bounty for a min. So that was helpful. When im on my warlock i gets shards. On my hunter energys. But i did get found verdict yesterday on my hunter. My warlock is 29 and i have 2raid chests. Thats all dude. Its really frustrating. And all my friends are scared of hard lol

At Atheon I got: 3rd Vision of Confluence 2nd Suros Regime 2nd Timebreaker And 2nd Vex Mythoclast 2 Ascended Energy On just one run. I saved the video and everything. It was epic.
