Transfer my Faction Rep and Cryptarch Rep to all Characters Please
So I made a new character because my Titan doesn't Blink and it was making me depressed. Anyway, I start my Hunter and begin leveling him up, then, I noticed something...
[b]My Factions and Cryptarch Ranks Have Been Reset[/b]
I spent time leveling them up on my main account and I have to level my new character up all over again to have enough reputation to purchase Gear... Please Bungie, I know that you have alot work ahead of you, but can this be something that get's addressed? This game has enough grinding as it is, please don't add Ranks into that process.

I hear a lot of you regarding the aspect of RPG and how factions should be based on your character, but this game doesn't play any different with different characters so why should I grind factions with a new character when I already put in the work with one?

5 RepliesFaction rep is like experience, so I think it's fair that you have to earn it separately with each character. That being said, I agree that vanguard/crucible marks should transfer. You can transfer glimmer, upgrade materials, weapons, armor, and more between all characters. It doesn't make sense that you can't use marks the same way. Especially when you can only earn so few of them each week (100 max per character)

This is one of the reasons why I no longer play Destiny... I was looking forward to Iron Banner but when I realized that I had to choose between my Titan and Hunter, I lost interest.

1 ReplyIf you where able to do that then everyone would have 3 characters and would all be lv 26-30 as soon and they got to level 20. I think it is fine by the time you reach lv 20 as it stands you should be about rank 2-3 with vanguard any way

4 RepliesIt's not too hard to hit rank 2 in vanguard by the time you get 130 vanguard marks to buy your first two legendaries. I personally feel it's fine the way it is. For reference I have three characters that are now 29/28/28. It only takes 1-2 weeks to get your character up to this level when they are all on the same account.

7 RepliesYes rep should be shared across the board for this simple fact: Even if you play the three classes the name above your head is the same. We can share everything else, we should be able to share rep, no reason not to, why do we want to have three separate Cryptarc ranks that still net us blue engrams at level 2 or level 34. Makes no sense.

1 ReplyIt's not much of an issue. Once you get the reps to rank three (heck, rank 1 for cryptarch) it's just about the care packages you get in the mail. There's what, five factions with gear? Oh also if you shared factions you'd have to share bounties too, and that would be a hot mess. Otherwise if they were not shared you could rank up factions 3x as fast if you did bounties on all three characters. And I likes me my bounty xp for leveling weapons. Overall I understand the desire for sharing faction ranks, but in the end I don't think it's really necessary and in many cases causes undesirable side effects.

3 RepliesThat's why I said $&@/ it and stuck with vanguard there stuff is better anyway. Plus if you do it right you should be a third or half way to rank 2 with them.
