Is Truth worth the buy?
I have 44 coins right now, and I am thinking about buying truth. The problem is, I don't know how beneficial it is, and I've heard Gjallarhorn is better.
My loadout for strikes is:
Vision of Confluence
Ice Breaker
Corrective Measure
My loadout for PVP (This is where it would be used):
Vision of Confluence
Comedian/ Light/Beware (depending on my mood)
Corrective Measure (or Truth if I buy it)
I will have passed on Xur for 2 week if I buy nothing, and I kind of want to roll with an exotic in PVP. I just don't know if Truth is better than Corrective Measure(100 belt, 200 reserve).
Any thoughts on truth from any truth owners or knowledgable destiny players will be appreciated.
Edit: Should I just wait for Gjallarhorn? I am primarily a PVE player.
I also have other exotics that aren't ice breaker (hard light, bad juju, invective), but I can't see myself using them over my legendaries.

My fully upgraded gjallarhorn does 25k with the secondary explosions. Far superior to icebreaker crits. I use a heavy ammo synthesis right before I get the times vengeance buff so I unload 7 rockets in those 39 seconds. I can take off 1/4 of his health by myself in that time.

5 RepliesMy Truth is not maxed and does 10500 to Atheon on normal. Anyone know what Gjallarhorn does? Truth is good for defending the conflux during the gatekeeper portals as well.

Truth about Destiny? definitly yes Truth the exotic rocket launcher? no better galjahorn or whatever it-s called.

The air-burst rockets are sick though. Great for getting enemies behind cover. You should just buy it so you can have a good void rocket launcher, it destroys pratoreans.

I honestly don't believe we will ever see Gjallahorn sold again. Try using the Steel Oracle. It's void damage + 3 rockets. On par with the The Truth imo.

It never hurts to buy it now and decide when to use it; regardless, you get 5 Grimoire Score for obtaining it.
