Think of this in terms of when the iPhone first came out. If you recall AT&T(IIRC) was the only place you could get service plan for a while. That was the whole reason people figured out how to jailbreak the phones in the first place. Not to beat a dead horse, but everyone needs to remember that at no point in time has Bungie ever tried to hide that fact that Sony/ PlayStation was going to get extra content that Xbox wouldn't get. It really shocks me that with the release date now set for the first part of the expansion, the blogs and forums are acting like this was some big huge cover up. At the end of the day everything really does come down to money... and by money I mean profits for the investors that put up the money t o fund the making of this game.
