Marcus Lehto returns to Bungie!

http://blog.marcuslehto.com/ Now I can sleep soundly at night. The master mind behind all things Halo is now back at Bungie working on the new project. One of the most Grizzled amongst the Ancients, he was one of the few to work and create Halo from day one of the project back in 1997. And now he is back to doing it again on the new IP. All I have to say is I'm glad he is back. [Edited on 01.22.2012 10:11 AM PST]

Bungie has several (at least) IP's running at one time if you consider Crimson, the current new universe, and the fact that they have talked in the past bout having lots of ideas they want to pursue but that they were locked into Halo for forever. It sounds more like He and Tung have something to explore and round out before they make an official start to it with a team.
Yes, I read that the dates of release for Myth and Marathon games came out around the same time as each other (within 1-2 years apart. late 90's). There could be 2 IPs being made but I think the current focus is probably on 1 project. [Edited on 01.23.2012 11:52 AM PST]
